Poly Ester Resin - high strength and chemically resistant, most commonly used in manhole-to-manhole cured in place pipe rehabilitation.
Vinyl Ester Resin - increased resistance to corrosive fluids; prevents long term creep; combine high flexural strength typically used in areas of higher caustics and solvent based environments.
Epoxy Resin - superior to polyester resin systems for cured in place pipelines. Epoxy produces laminates, which have greater physical properties; therefore, less resin is used to give equal performance. Less material means improved flow of characteristics. Epoxy resins do not contain volatile or organic compounds such as styrene. Epoxy resins offer no offending odors and can resist chemical attacks from caustic chemicals and show better adhesion with virtually no shrinkage.
